Filling up Backpacks for Local Foster Care Children

Can we donate $10 in your name to help purchase school backpacks and supplies for foster care children?

Most children enter the foster care system with only the clothing on their backs. Kitsap Foster Care Association in Bremerton supports local children in a number of ways; they provide clothing, diapers, and formulas to foster children who arrive with no resources. In addition, they host dinners with free training and daycare as well as fun, family activities throughout the year. Also, each year in August an afternoon is dedicated to distributing backpacks filled with school supplies and providing coats to the foster youth and their caregivers.

“They do such a wonderful job supporting children in our community that we feel lucky to be able to help them out,” says Betty Skinner.

The foster care families in our community need our support. This is where you can help.

With a $10 donation in your name we can provide the supplies necessary to give these foster children the best start in the new school year.

Join the #AgentsOfChange movement and let’s make sure all children in our community are taken care of. Together we can change lives!
