Walking to End Alzheimer’s

Our agency wants to raise funds to help support research efforts toward a cure for Alzheimer’s. The grandmother of our very own team member, Maggie Wilson, is living with Alzheimer’s. Our agency would like to support the efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association in finding a cure.

Alzheimer’s is a form of dementia and causes memory loss and affects other intellectual abilities daily. Every year, the Alzheimer’s Association hosts a walk to raise funds and awareness to support research efforts in fighting against the disease. The association provides in-person support groups for those battling the disease as well as a 24/7 helpline that offers information and referrals. Maggie’s grandmother is a survivor and one of many who lives with the disease. In America alone, there are more than 5 million people living with Alzheimer’s. “Our agency wants to do everything possible to not only support Maggie’s grandmother but to help others in our community and nationwide who are battling Alzheimer’s.”

Funds raised throughout this campaign will help to support research efforts toward finding a cure. Join us in our efforts to support Maggie’s grandmother as well as other survivors of Alzheimer’s in our community.
